Meghan focuses on establishing healthy movement patterns to replace old ones no longer of service, and uses multiple methods to help students dive deep into themselves.
She received her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification from Hot Power Yoga in Laramie in 2014, her 300 hour Yoga Alliance certification from Shannon Paige in 2016, and her Master Pilates Certification from the Pilates Institute of Boulder in 2017. She has studied with Jeanie Manchester, Douglas Brooks, Amy Ippolitti, Gary Kraftsow, James Fox, Jaime Amor, and others to deepen her academic understanding of philosophy, the physical anatomy of the emotional realm, and her own practices of asana and meditation.
Jackie has been practicing yoga for over 7 years and has recently become a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. Yoga helped her stay at ease through college and now helps her manage stress with a job in environmental engineering. She has ventured through many different types of yoga and enjoys the rush of a power flow class but also the calmness of a restorative class. Coming from a gymnastics background, she loves incorporating strength and flexibility with breathing in her own practice. She strives to help people learn new poses and achieve their yoga goals.
Jackie loves to be outside which includes rock climbing, hiking, running, and lounging in hammocks! She is passionate about keeping our earth's water clean and spreading the joy of yoga to everybody.
Gina has been practicing yoga since 1999. Yoga complimented her Tae Kwon Do, Judo, and Tai Chi classes. Since then yoga has become an integral part of her life. After recognizing that her depression was intensifying, Gina began deepening her relationship with her yoga practice. She received her 200 hour certification from Blossom Yoga Studio in Laramie, WY in 2013 and was trained primarily in Vinyasa Yoga or Flow Yoga. Gina’s experience with depression, anxiety, and the healing powers of yoga drive her practice and teaching today. Gina’s approach to her yoga practice and classes is often framed by her degrees in anthropology and English literature. Her classes often include stories, themes, personal insights, and mythological tales. Gina believes that yoga is like the universe, there is space and healing for all.
Helen has been practicing yoga on a regular basis for the past 25 years and teaching sea kayaking for the past ten years. Several years ago, she became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through the Yoga Alliance. Her specialty is Vinyasa Flow, although she also enjoys working with beginners and teaching classes with long, but challenging, holds.
Helen has two internationally recognized DVDs, Simplifying the Roll with Helen Wilson (an instructional kayaking DVD) and Yoga for Outdoor People, and has written skills articles in both kayaking and yoga for several publications; including Sea Kayaker Magazine, The Masik, Ocean Paddler Magazine and Canoe & Kayak.
Monica is devoted yoga student of 7+ years and always wanted to be an teacher from the start. It was that "one thing" that gave her soul fire. She pushed herself to take chances and fell hard in love with the practice of yoga. Monica’s dream is to spread movement and help everyone heal and find the cure within themselves. Monica is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance, and is a DEEP and Buti Yoga instructor.
Liz Davis, MA
Liz is a former professional dancer who received her master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Arizona. She has been involved with the fitness industry for over 25 years, working as an instructor and trainer at the Canyon Ranch Health Resorts, as a director of fitness centers for the federal government, as the director and owner of Teton Pilates and most recently as a certified Egoscue therapist. She has held certifications from the American Council on Exercise, the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She continues her professional training at courses and clinics throughout the US. Her approach to training incorporates alignment, breath, correct postural engagement and a sense of humor. She believes firmly in the human body’s ability to change and transform.
David is the caretaker of Ananda. Twice a week he ensures every corner of the studio is cleaned and in superb condition for our students. He helps keep Ananda running smoothly and ready for anything.
He’s also one of the friendliest guys around. You can often find him downtown, ready for conversation and a joke or two.
